Course Description:
It is most likely that no one has foreseen and planned for the current scenario and laid out a structured strategic plan for disaster recovery and business recovery. Planning for Disaster Recovery and Business Recovery from a preventive perspective is most advantageous yet the next best step in response to the events is to lay out such plans as early as possible. This webinar will overview the necessary elements of a Strategic Plan in spite of the fact that the negative event has occurred and is continuing to develop. It is imperative that in the current situation we use a structured approach to planning, assuming the worst case scenario to ensure adequate margins, and guarding against our impulses to overreact. The content of this webinar will include a cursory overview of what a well-developed Strategic Plan, a Disaster Recovery Plan, a Business Recovery Plan and what is required in terms of Informed Decision Guidance. Disaster Recovery is distinctly different than Business Recovery and the process of navigation requires decision after decision, which brings Decision Theory into context. Join us for this informative webinar that will help individuals, business leaders, thought leaders, etc. make the first critical decisions on what, when, where and how to navigate the current challenges because Hope is not a Strategy.
