In product development today, one question that always seems to come up is “how are we going to get our products to market quicker and still not sacrifice quality”?  At least I like to think everyone adds the second caveat.

In this paper I hope to present you with ideas and proven practices, that if you use them and make them habits, will get your products to market faster, make your products more reliable, keep your designers happy and save you money.  This paper will provide examples of how the seven habits fit into a generic product development process.  This paper will also provide examples of how the they were used in a real product development.
